Day 1 Srinagar Airport – Sonmarg 100 Kms (4 Hrs. Drive)

  • Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by Car to Sonmarg. Arrive Sonmarg & check in your booked Hotel / Swiss Camps. Rest of the day at leisure. .
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at Sonmarg

Day 2 Sonmarg – Baltal – Amarnath Ji – Baltal – Srinagar

  • After early breakfast short drive of 15 Kms will take you to Baltal (Helipad) Baltal- Panchtarni –Baltal helicopter ride.
  • The Helicopter start operating at 06.00 Hrs (Weather Permitting).
  • Panchtaraniis approx 6 Kms from Holy Cave, you can go there by Foot or can hire Palki/Pony at your own cost.
  • After darshan return back to Panchtaranito board helicopter to Baltal.
  • Return back to Srinagar.
  • On arrival check in your hotel / houseboat. Dinner & overnight stay atSrinagar.

Day 3 Srinagar - Full Day Local Sightseeing of Srinagar

  • After breakfast leave for local sightseeing tour to famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan.
  • Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) and then pay visit to famous Pari Mahal & Shankaracharya Temple situated on top of Hill where you can have a look of whole Srinagar City.
  • In the evening enjoy the Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice.
  • You will get a view of some very interesting Places around the Lake. Dinner & Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 4 Departure Day

  • After breakfast time is free till departure.
  • Check out from the houseboat / hotel. Transfer you to the airport to connect your flight to your onward journey.

  • Tripplanners will not be held responsible for any mishap/accident/injury/death/ Natural disaster, rites, curfew, landslide, terrorism during the course of the tour.
  • Force Majeure or Acts of God:-During any Package period, unforeseen events can take place, these events may include but may not be limited to the following terrorism, civil unrest, rioting, war, natural disaster,typhoons,floods,landslide,political crisis,curfew.These acts among others are referred in travel industry as FORCE MAJEURE, a French term meaning “Unforseeable Circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract.”No Cancellation or any refund will be made at any cost in case of bad weather, land-slide, any other natural disaster, political/national crisis, curfew, terrorism due to which the customer could not reach the destination/ airport/ railway station/ bus stand, which is beyond the control of the Agent/Hotel. It will be entirely at the risk and cost of the customer. All customers have to manage their stay, transport, Air, train & Bus fares and any further expenses at their own cost.
  • In case of booking cancellation, our cancellation policy will be applicable.
  • Helicopter Ticket shall be Non Refundable.
  • Meals while traveling is not included in the package and shall be paid by the customer.
  • Entrance fees, if any, at any point shall be paid by customers.
  • Hotels, Helicopter tickets, Transport are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
  • Rates are subject to change (without a prior notice) in case of a major fuel hike or hike in Government. Taxes etc.
  • Due to bad weather or technical reason if the schedule flight is cancelled / delay, Sonmarg / Srinagar hotel/houseboat will consider No-Show for that day without any refund {In case client is not able to reach at their pre booked hotel/ destination}. Next day’s accommodation has to be taken care by the guest directly. Transportation would be charged by our staff at Sonamarg
  • In case of cancellation of the scheduled flight due to bad weather/Force Majeure/technical reasons, advance booked passengers would get the priority next day {as per the aviation management, current situations and previous rush}.
  • All passengers have to collect the refund amount directly from the Helipad. Tripplanners Travels will not be responsible in case the traveler does not get the refund from the aviation services.
  • Due to lack of payment if Charter’s official will advise you to put the cancellation stamp & sign in the Helicopter tickets {at Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad/ Katra Helipad} by them to collect the refund from passenger’s travel agents, in this case we can just process your refund request to the Charter’s office/ Authorized agents . Whenever we will get the refund will forward to the passengers. All refund will proceed after 55 -60 days of the over Amarnath Yarta. In case of any kind of delay in refund / Non Payment by the aviation services, our company will not be liable for the same. Client can directly contact to the Aviation services for refund. To claim the refund we would require the original Cancelled Tickets with stamp and sign {from Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad}. You have to put the compulsory cancellation stamp & sign in your helicopter tickets, without stamped tickets no refund request will be accepted.
  • Passenger can directly send through courier/speed post the original stamped cancelled tickets to us at our mentioned address with their bank details. As early as possible we will get the same from Charter’s office, will forward the same to the passengers. Passengers can also directly contact to the aviation for the refund of canceled helicopter tickets.
  • Tripplanners Travels shall not be responsible for non-show of passenger(s) at next destination due to cancellation of helicopter services due to backload, delay boarding, technical reasons & also shall not be responsible if passenger(s) gets stuck at Holy Cave, Panchtarani etc and do not turn up at the next destination.
  • No refund shall be made for all on the spot paid arrangements i.e. hotel/ camps, transport and other arrangements booked by customer due the reasons mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
  • Tripplanners Travels can book helicopter tickets for passenger(s). All land & boarding arrangement parts have to be done by Aviation services only.
  • Yatris travelling by helicopters to Panjtarni shall not be required to secure Yatra Permits but such Yatris will be required to produce Compulsory Health Certificates, duly issued by Authorised Doctors/ Institutes at the time of boarding the helicopter at Neelgrat/ Pahalgam. No Yatri shall be allowed to board the helicopter without first submitting the CHC {Compulsory Medical Certificate}.
  • Children below 13 year in age, elderly persons above the age of 75 years and Ladies who are more than 6 weeks pregnant shall not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
  • Passengers are requested to report at the departure helipad one hour before the notified departure time of the flight or at Reporting Time mentioned in the PTD. Passengers reporting beyond these timings shall be treated as “NO SHOW” passengers {without any refund} and the Operator reserves the right to allot the seat to other passengers. For Panjtarni to Neelgrath sector, passengers will be boarded on a First Come First Serve Basis subject to availability of seats.
  • In case of bad weather or any technical reason if the flight is cancelled at Amarnath then actual tickets cost @ Rs. 4000/- Per Ticket {via Neelgarth}. Rs. 8600/- Per Ticket {Via Pahalgam} for round trip will be refunded from helicopter services. Transaction charges & taxes will not be refunded.
  • Helicopter Services could be any of the aviation services available in the sector. It could be either of Pawanhans or Global Vectra or mixed from Neelgarth Route and from Pahalgam tickets will be of Himalayan Heli Services. The estimated timings of Helicopter Tickets are between 06:30 AM till 12:00 Noon {for Same Day Package} & In Next Day Package tickets timing will be after 01:30 PM onwards via Neelgarth route.
  • Every passenger has to carry the hotel vouchers during the travel. Without Vouchers Check Inn at Hotel will not be granted.
  • Compulsory Photo identity proof has to be produced on Check-in (Passport, Voter Id, Pan Card, driving licensee, Aadhar Card, and any other govt. approved ID etc.)
  • No replacement in accommodation is allowed during the stay. If guest(s)/passenger(s) get(s) stuck at Sonamarg / Panchtarani and want(s) their stay at Sonmarg only instead of Srinagar for the same day,they have make own arrangements at own cost only. Srinagar stay will consider No-Show without any refund.
  • Amarnath Yatra package cannot be rescheduled for any other destination.
  • If passenger(s) keep their vehicle for entire tour and could not visit any sightseeing, destination due to any reason, no refund of transportation will be allotted.
  • No cancelation / refund request will be acceptable if the Shivling goes melted early.
  • No package cancelation / refund request will be acceptable due to any reason if air / train/ bus tickets gets cancelled from the airlines / railway / Bus operator. Cancellation policy will be applicable.
  • if guest(s)/passenger(s) fails to reach pre booked hotel/ destination due to reasons beyond our control viz. rail, flight, helicopters delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances, strikes, terrorism, curfew, they have to manage all expenses for their same day stay. In case of cancellation, our cancelation policy will be applicable.
  • Disputes, if any shall be subject to Jurisdiction of Delhi only.

  • For your reservations we need some token amount in advance i.e. Rs. 9500/- Per Person {For Neelgarth Route}. Rs. 12,500/- Per Person {For Pahalgam Route}. Balance of the payment will be when we will deliver you the traveling vouchers by e mail Or by post. Balance payment has to be done within 07 working days after receiving your vouchers. Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received within 07 working days after getting your travelling vouchers, the received advance amount will be fully forfeited. On arrival payments at Srinagar are not allowed. Helicopter Tickets will be delivered latest before 02 days of your Amarnath Yatra.
  • PAYMENT MODE:You can deposit the amount at any of the bank’s branch near you in our current a/c. Or you can make the online payment & inform us through email. We shall immediately confirm your booking by email. Your reservation vouchers shall be e mailed/couriered to you. If there is no such bank branch near you, you can send the payment via bank draft, payable at New Delhi to us. You can also pay cash at our Delhi office. Please send us an email specifying your address after making the deposit. We shall email the hotel voucher to you upon receipt of your response.

How To Reach

By Air

Srinagar, the nearest aerodrome, has world famous sights to see, such as Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, Shankaracharya Temple and Mughal gardens like Shalimar, Nishat and Cheshma-shahi. Known as "Paradise on earth" and being the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, the city is well connected by air and road. There are daily flights to Srinagar from Delhi and Jammu. On certain weekdays flights also pickup passengers from Chandigarh and Leh.

BY RAIL

Jammu is the nearest Railway Station. Jammu is the winter Capital of Jammu & Kashmir. Also known as "CITY OF TEMPLES", one may visit old temples such as Raghunath Temple, Mahadev Mandir and other temples. Railway station is very well connected and there are lots of express trains to various towns in India.

BY ROAD

Jammu and Srinagar are also connected through road. Buses and Taxies are available for this part of the journey. These can be hired on daily as well as on full tour basis.



DO’s

  • Prepare for the Yatra by achieving a high level of Physical Fitness. You are advised to start at atleast a month prior to the Yatra at least a 4-5km Morning/Evening walk. For Improving the oxygen efficiency of your body, you should start doing deep breathing exercises and Yoga, particularly Pranayam.
  • Your journey shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing strong cold winds. You must carry
    • adequate woolen clothing
    • a small umbrella (preferably one which is tied with an elastic band around your head and supported by a strap around the chin)
    • windcheater
    • raincoat
    • waterproof trekking shoes
    • torch
    • walking stick
    • cap (preferably a monkey cap)
    • gloves
    • jacket
    • woolen socks
    • trousers (preferably a waterproof pair)
    • These items are essential as the climate is highly unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to rain and snow.
    • The temperature can sometimes abruptly fall to 5 degrees Celcius or lower.
  • For Ladies: saree is not a suitable dress for the Yatra. Salwar Kameez, pant-shirt or a track suit will be better. Ladies who are more than 6 week pregnant shall not be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage.
  • Keeping in view the tough nature of the trek, children below 13 year in age and elderly persons above the age of 75 years shall not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
  • It would be better if the porter / horses / ponies carrying your luggage travel just in front or behind you, as you may suddenly need something from your baggage.
  • During the Yatra from Pahalgam/Baltal onwards, you should keep spare clothes/ eatables in a suitable water proof bag to ensure against their getting wet.
  • Carry a water bottle, dry fruits, roasted grams/channa, toffees/gur (jiggery), chocolates, etc for use during the journey.
  • Carry some cold cream/Vaseline/sunscreen to protect your hands /face against sunburn etc.
  • You should not trek alone. Always travel in a group and ensure that all those comprising the group, walking in front of you or in the rear, always remain in your sight, to ensure against your being separated from them.
  • To enable prompt action being taken in case of any emergency, you should keep in your pocket a note containing the name/addresses/mobile telephone number of a member of your group with whom you are travelling. You must also carry your Yatra Permit and any other identity card.
  • On your return journey, you must leave the Base Camp along with all members of your group. In case any member of your group is missing you must seek immediate assistance of the Police and also have an announcement made on the Public Address System at the Yatra Camp.
  • You should provide all possible help to your fellow Yatris, travelling with you, and perform the pilgrimage with a pious mind.
  • You must strictly follow the instructions issued by the Yatra administration, from time to time.
  • Earth, water, air, fire and sky are integral parts of Lord Shiva. The Base camp and the entire Yatra routes are the abode of Shri Amarnathji. Throughout your pilgrimage you must respect the environment and do nothing to pollute it.
  • All waste materials must be placed in the nearest dustbin. All organic wastes must be put in the dustbin which is green coloured. 16. Lavatories/ urinals, installed in the camps and other places enroute the Holy Cave, should be used.

DONT’S

  • Don’t stop at places which are marked by warning notices.
  • Don’t use slippers because there are steep rises and falls on the route to the Holy Cave. Only wear trekking shoes with laces.
  • Don’t attempt any short cuts on the route as doing so would be dangerous.
  • Do not do anything during your entire forward/return journey which could cause pollution or disturb the environment of the Yatra area. Use of plastics is strictly banned in the State and is punishable under law.
