Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu
Once you arrive at the Kathmandu airport, Our representative will greet you and take you to the designated hotel.
Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of Nepal.
The city portrays a perfect blend of architectural grandeur along with lively casinos.
The Kathmandu valley houses several UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.
Sleep overnight before embarking on a sightseeing tour of this city.
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Post breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, which one of the holy shrines of Hindus. Non-Hindu tourists are not allowed inside this temple, but they can enjoy the outside view from the opposite bank of Bagmati River. This revered shrine, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a pagoda with silver doors and golden roofs.
Later, head to Bouddhanath Stupa, which is a famous Buddhist temple. This stupa is 36 m high and is one of the oldest in the country.
As the day ends with a visit to these religious places, relax in your hotel room.
Day 3 Kathmandu to Patan | Sightseeing in Patan
After breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Patan. The town, also known as Lalitpur, is the second largest region in the Kathmandu valley. Wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture and temples are the distinct features that represent this beautiful town.
Visit its Durbar Square that comprises palaces, courtyards and temples, which were built during the Malla period. Next, proceed towards Tibetan Refugee Centre, popular for its carpet factories. You can get one of the finest varieties of carpets here. It also produces handicrafts like wood and metal prayer wheels.
Finally, leave for Swayambhunath, which is an ancient Buddhist shrine. The golden spire of the Swayambhunath Stupa is located on a hilltop. It offers a mesmerising view of the Kathmandu city. It features painted eyes of Buddha that watch all who ascend its steps. Retire to the hotel room and sleep overnight.
Day 4 Kathmandu to Nagarkot | Depart from Kathmandu
Soon after breakfast, drive to Nagarkot, which is a small town set amidst the Himalayas. The panoramic view of the major peaks including Mt. Everest is the main highlight of this trip. The sunrise and sunset over these snow-covered peaks is a sight, which must not be missed.
After spending a beautiful day, get back to your hotel and relax overnight.
Day 5 Nagarkot to Kathmandu | Depart from Kathmandu
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Drive back to Kathmandu and board your return flight.
