Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu
Arrival at Kathmandu International airport.
Meet & welcome by our representative & transfer to hotel.
Welcome drink followed by tour briefing.
Rest of the day is free for personal activities.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, which a sacred shrine of Hindus. The beauty of this two-tiered pagoda is enhanced by its golden roofs and silver doors. Seek Lord Shiva's blessings here, who is the presiding deity of this temple.
Afterwards, visit the Boudhanath Stupa, enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Dominating the skyline of the city, it is one of the largest stupas in the Kathmandu Valley.
After enjoying some peaceful moments at the stupa visit Patan, also called Lalitpur. The city is inhabited by master artists and craftsmen who have kept alive the ancient art that originated hundreds of years ago. The age old brilliant art work can be clearly seen in abundance in the temples and Buddhist monuments.
The Patan Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city, offers much to the anticipation of numerous tourists who flock the city round the year. This architectural complex comprises palaces, courtyards and temples, which were built during the Malla period. You must visit the Krishna Temple here, which is known for its grandeur and opulence.
Also, in the city, is another tourist spot called Tibetan Refugee Centre, which is home to a large population of Tibetan refugees. Owing to the finest variety of carpets, it has earned admiration of the tourists who visit this city. At the camp, shop for handwoven carpets, wooden bowls and beautiful handicrafts.
Afterwards, proceed to the Swayambhunath, also called the 'monkey temple' due to the large troop of monkeys roving around its complex. This shrine has a golden spire which features painted eyes of Buddha.
Day 3 Kathmandu to Pokhara (210 km)
Post breakfast, embark on a road journey to Pokhara, the scenic city that is a paradise for nature lovers. On the way, admire the splendid view of magnificent mountains wreathed in clouds and lush green expanses.
While on the way, you can either visit the Manakamana Temple or indulge in river rafting.
Dedicated to Goddess Durga, the Manakamana Temple rests on a high hill and can be reached in mere 10 minutes by a cable cart ride.
Day 4 Pokhara Sightseeing
Post breakfast, visit the Bindhyabasini Mandir, situated in the old Pokhara Bazaar. Set amidst this colourful bazaar, the temple has a white dome like structure.
Next visit the Devi's Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango. A milky-white stream of water gushing down gracefully down the rocky hill makes a perfect backdrop for enjoying some light moments.
Situated in proximity to this fall is the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a tourist destination of religious importance. Though photography is prohibited here, tourists can discover naturally made fascinating structures.
Afterwards, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5 Drive Pokhara - Nagarkot
As the dawn breaks, have breakfast and hit the road to Kathmandu and thereafter, proceed to Nagarkot, a village situated around 32 km east of Kathmandu. Tourists visit the village to get a feel of the cosy quaintness of rural life that flourishes amidst these massive chain of mountains. The village is also known for being a good vantage point to enjoy the beauty of sunrise and sunset.
On arrival at Nagarkot, check-in at the hotel and sleep the night away.
Day 6 Depart from Nagarkot Airport
Breakfast & check out from hotel.
