Day 1 Arrival in Cape Town | Day at Leisure
Upon your arrival at the Cape Town Airport, meet a Yatra representative, who will provide you with your travel documents. Then, embark on a private road journey to your hotel.
Cape Town, also known as the Mother City, is the provincial capital of the Western Cape, South Africa. Located in the shadow of the imposing Table Mountain, it is undoubtedly one of the most charming tourist destinations in the world. This city is bestowed with many natural marvels like Cape Point, Lion's Head, Robben Island and Cape of Good Hope.
Once you reach the hotel, complete all check-in formalities and relax in your room. Afternoon is free for exploring the city on your own.
Later, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2 Cape Town - City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a private Cape Town city tour.
Start with a visit to the city's landmark – Table Mountain, a flat-topped mountain over 3558 feet high. If weather permits, reach the top of the mountain by a cable car to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Continue your tour by strolling through the historic Malay Quarter.
Thereafter, head towards the South African Museum that houses a large number of scientific specimens dating back to 700 million years. Besides, it also houses many ancient stone tools, artefacts and other archaeological discoveries.
In the end, visit the spellbinding Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
After this interesting sojourn, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Cape Town
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore some other revered attractions of Cape Town city.
Start from Hout Bay, one of the Western Cape's busiest fishing harbours. This scenic coastal town, located in a protected bay between Chapman’s Peak and Mount Sentinel, boasts of a lovely beach. A drive past this region, gives an opportunity to marvel at the awe-inspiring Atlantic Ocean.
Thereafter, enjoy a half-hour cruise to the Seal Island, known for its Cape Fur Seals. Besides, a walk through the Mariner's Wharf, a famous fish market, and Boulders Penguin Colony or Jackass Penguin Colony, would be a memorable experience.
In the latter part of the day, head towards Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point – two landmark attractions of the Mother City.
After a day-long tour, come back to the hotel room for an overnight stay.
Day 4 Transfer from Cape Town to Knysna via Garden Route
After having a hearty morning meal at the hotel, take a transfer from the Cape Town city to Knysna via the famous Garden Route (a long coastline stretch).
Upon arrival here, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while in your room. Later, proceed for an evening cruise on the enchanting Knysna Lagoon.
Thereafter, retire to your hotel room.
Day 5 Full-day tour of Oudtshoorn
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a full-day tour of Oudtshoorn, a splendid town in South Africa's Western Cape province.
In Oudtshoorn, pay a visit to the astonishing Cango Caves, among the country's oldest and most popular natural wonders. Around 20 million years old, this site has fascinating coloured limestone formations.
Next, visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch, which is about 3 km north of Oudtshoorn town. Here, you will have the opportunity to encounter several trained wild animals, such as tiger, cheetah, lemur, python, crocodile, fox and tegu.
Later, proceed for a tour of the Safari Ostrich Show Farm. Have a great time witnessing their various development stages or enjoying an ostrich ride. Visitors can also binge on delightful ostrich meat and other South African dishes at the in-house restaurant.
After this exciting tour of the ostrich capital, return to the hotel in Knysna and stay overnight.
After breakfast we proceed for a day excursion of Knysna, on the way we take our halt at Bloukrans Bridge located in the Tsitsikama region for Bungee Jumping (optional). Bloukrans Bridge is the site of the world‘s highest commercial bungee jumping. Thereafter we proceed to take our halt at Knysna- is a town in the heart of South Africa's beautiful Garden Route just East of Cape Town. Knysna lies nestled in between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean.
After a brief picture halt we precede our journey crossing some of the beautiful towns falling by the sea. Dinner and stay at Mossel Bay.
Day 6 Transfer to Port Elizabeth to Sun City
After breakfast, take a private transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to OR Tambo International Airport.
Upon arrival here, drive on a private road to reach the world-famous Sun City.
Once you reach the resort, complete the check-in formalities and stayovernight in your room.
Day 7 Leisure Day at Sun City
Post breakfast, spend the rest of the day in leisure activities.
Fitness freaks can head to the in-house gymnasium for a rigorous workout session.
You may also explore the luxuriant surroundings of the resort or enjoy a dip in the large swimming pool. Later, retire to your hotel room.
Day 8 Depart from Sun City to Johannesburg
After breakfast at the hotel, take a private road to Johannesburg en route visiting the Gold Reef City.
The fascinating Gold Reef City is a massive theme park, designed around the 1880s Witwatersrand's Gold Rush.
Following this interesting tour, retire to your hotel room and contemplate about the next day tour at Kruger National Park.
Day 9 Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, take a transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for the next flight to Hoedspruit Airport.
Upon arrival in Kruger, depart on a private road to Kapama River Lodge. Among the South Africa's biggest national parks, the Kruger National Park is an exceptionally well set-up adventure land for venturesome tourists.
Once here, complete the check-in formalities and relax in your room. Postlunch, head for a game drive in an open 4x4 game vehicle and witness the fascinating wilderness of this national park. In the evening, return to the lodge. Before retiring to your room, savour a scrumptious dinner at the lodge.
Day 10 Game Drive at Kruger National Park
Early in the morning, go on a jungle safari in an open 4x4 vehicle. Explore the rich biodiversity of the park and later, return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax in your room to energise for the second round of safari.
Return to the lodge in the evening.
Have your dinner and stay overnight in the lodge.
Day 11 Departure from Kruger National Park
Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport.
Board your return flight bidding adieu to this wonderful country.
